To all Alexandrians, and most particularly, the lovely and ever so astute readers of The Royal Screamer:
I want to personally extend my apology for the lapse in coverage this past week, especially with important information like Government forming coming much later than anticipated. This paper is largely a one-woman project, and while I am enthusiastic about this work, I also must attend to my real-life needs, including emotionally, socially, and financially. Additionally, with the pace that I usually keep with articles, it can be easy to fall into a lapse or burn-out. For this, I truly do apologize.
Nevertheless, this is not an admission of defeat, or a statement of resignation. This is a renewal of the vow to you all that is the foundation of The Royal Screamer. I intend to safeguard the longevity of this paper and its noble mission by continuing to seek contributors, by pacing myself on personal writings, and by never sacrificing quality for expediency. But I cannot do this alone! If you are an Alexandrian resident interested in the art of journalism, whether it is by contributing photos, graphics, articles, interviews, investigations, or anything else you can think of, please join the Discord server for The Royal Screamer (linked on the right-hand sidebar of the page) and get in touch with us. We are passionate about our mission, and we’re looking for people who want to help better inform the people of Alexandria in these times where it is more crucial than ever to stay informed and engaged.
In appreciation and at your service,
JunoAndrist
Editor-in-Chief of The Royal Screamer
