Tsunami of New Players From YouTube Video Overflows Redmont and Alexandria

At around 10 AM EST today, Saturday, 23 May, the YouTuber “Yeah Jaron” uploaded a video about Redmont, called “I Survived Minecraft’s Most Realistic Civilization”. The video, which has accrued over 130,000 views in just about four hours and has become the eighth-highest video in “Trending for Gaming” at time of writing, follows Jaron and his friends through their time in Redmont, farming, working, renting an apartment, and more.

As Yeah Jaron has over 2 million subscribers, players flooded Redmont almost instantly after the video was uploaded. Shortly after, both DemocracyCraft and StateCraft went offline for maintenance, and by the time both were back up, both Redmont and Alexandria were full, with Redmont having 150 players on at once, and Alexandria having 100.

Despite staff and the community’s best efforts, the “Jaronwave” is pushing the servers’ limits, with both countries facing lag and an overwhelming amount of questions from the new players.

Nevertheless, this is not the first player influx the community has seen. Back in January of 2025, Redmont saw the “Trolligarch wave” arrive, stemming from a video the YouTuber Trolligarch made about virtual democracies which featured Redmont. Several of Redmont and Alexandria’s most notable and active citizens arrived during the Trolligarch wave; so what will these countries look like after the impact of members of the “Jaronwave”? Only time will tell.

The Royal Screamer will keep readers updated with the activity of notable “Jaronwavers”.
